      NADH Fun Fact Friday!


      NADH side effects, caution, risk


      Our supplements are all natural, NADH is already produced by the body, so there are few side effects. That doesn’t mean that there are no side effects. The most common reports of NADH side effects come from the higher dosages. If you are taking the supplement for everyday use, to get a boost of energy but don’t plan on doing anything too strenuous you wont need more than the 5mg. The complaints we get from costumers come when they order the higher doses of NADH. 


      The 20mg is designed for people with high stress levels or athletes. A person who doesn’t exert as much energy in the day and chooses to take the 20mg can sometimes have symptoms that include: insomnia, anxiety, or over-stimulation. 

      George, a 42 year-old lawyer from Philadelphia says, “I like the 5 mg dose because of the alertness it provides. However, when I take 10 mg or more, it makes me too stimulated, almost with a panicky feeling.” 

      Some who have been taking the 20mg NADH supplement daily for a week, and dose not exert enough energy, have said that it has caused insomnia. When sleeping problems occur this means a lower dosage is appropriate or the product needs to be taken less frequently.

      Fun Fact Friday! Q&A



      We get a lot of questions about our products, so here is a quick Q & A session to answer our most asked questions about NADH products.

      Q. Are there any side effects from NADH?

      Since the introduction of NADH in the early 1990s, the safety of NADH continues to be supported by several types of clinical data. First, the PDA approved two human clinical trials and any side effects found in these trials were required to be fully documented. The results of these trials were that not a single side effect was reported. In addition, more than three thousand patients have received stabilized NADH for treatment of therapeutic conditions since the late 1980s. No side effects have been observed in these patients. It’s also important to know that hundreds of thousands of consumers have taken NADH since it was made available in health food stores and pharmacies in the United States more than four years ago, and consumers have reported no significant side effects.

      Q. Can I take NADH with medication?

      Yes, you can take NADH with medication, including the most common antihypertensive, antidepressant, and antihistaminic drugs. In one of the PDA‐approved clinical trials, many patients were on antihypertensive and/or anti‐depressive and/or antihistaminic drugs. No interference was observed with these medications. However, be sure to check with your health care professional for his or her advice.

      Q. When is the best time to take NADH?

      The best time to take NADH is first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, 30 minutes before any food, drugs, or other supplements, with a glass of water. The NADH tablets are enteric coated and are designed to bypass the stomach and “float” with water into the intestine where absorption takes place. If you need additional energy for the late afternoon or evening, you can also take an additional NADH tablet either thirty minutes before lunch or about two hours after lunch, and again, at least thirty minutes before a late afternoon snack or an early dinner. It is important that NADH is taken on an empty stomach so it can easily “flush” or move into the intestines where it is absorbed.

      However, the ENADA MOJO and MOJO Plus tablets can be taken any time, regardless of when you last ate.

      Q. How soon should I expect to see results with NADH?

      The answer to this question varies according to the individual. Each of us has a very unique biochemistry: Our bodies absorb food and nutrients differently, and our metabolisms often differ in other dramatic ways. On average, optimal effectiveness is shown in four weeks of continuous usage. However, many healthy individuals report an improvement in energy levels within five to ten days. NADH must enter the billions of cell structures for energy production to begin, so first‐time users may need to be patient before seeing beneficial results.

      Q. How long can I take NADH?

      For normal healthy people who are taking NADH for increased daily energy and mental clarity, optimal effectiveness is achieved within one month of continuous usage. One month, therefore, is the minimum time period to take the product. After one month of continuous usage, normal healthy individuals who supplement with NADH for energy can try using it on an every‐other‐day basis.

      However, it is best to take NADH daily. Research suggests that NADH can be taken safely for long periods of time. Many people have been taking NADH for several years with no side effects reported. The body is in a continuous state of refueling itself with cellular energy and NADH is a very efficient cellular energizer. So, the more NADH

      the body has available, the more the body will use to produce more energy. If you are taking NADH therapeutically, continuous daily usage is recommended. However, it is always best to check with your healthcare provider to help monitor long‐term usage of any supplement.

      Testimonial Tuesday!

      Our testimonial today comes from a young college student. Ciara is in her fourth year at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona. It is a four year medical school in which they learn to diagnose and treat patients therapeutically with a variety of natural holistic methods. Her story is a lot like other students, stressed out, long days, long nights leading to fatigue. Here is how her experience with our supplements went.

      “As a personal testimonial, I heard about NADH from one of my instructors. I knew about NADH and its role in cellular energy metabolism from Biochemistry, nut was not aware of it being available as a supplement. I have suffered from chronic fatigue and adrenal burnout from increased stress since I started school three years ago. I decided to try the product. I have been taking ENADA 5mg daily in the morning for a little over one month now and have had absolutely phenomenal results.

      Prior to beginning the NADH, I had daily fatigue, unable to exercise because of fatigue. I had no energy reserve at all, as I became very stingy of how I was going to spend my energy in any given day. I needed more and more coffee to remain somewhat alert.       Meatless Monday


      It is a sure thing that if you are on any kind of social media outlet online, you will have heard of Meatless Mondays. This is a popular trend that took over the blogging world. Meatless Monday is a non-profit initiative of The Monday Campaigns Inc. The program follows the nutrition guidelines developed by the USDA. Healthy Monday encourages Americans to make healthier decisions at the start of every week. Meatless Monday began in 2003, launched in association with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public HealthMeatless Monday say they are now active in 29 countries and growing because every nation can bring its unique culture, customs and cuisine to the table in meat free and vegetarian dishes. It quickly became popular in the states and in May, 2009, Ghent, Belgium, became the first non-U.S. city to go meatless. Shortly thereafter, Paul McCartney introduced the U.K. to Meat-Free Mondays.

      They have numerous studies that show skipping meat one day a week is good for you, great for your nation’s health, and fantastic for the planet. On average, Americans consume 8 ounces of meat per day; 45% more than the USDA recommends. Going meatless one day a week can reduce the risk of chronic preventable conditions like cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and obesity. It can also help limit people’s carbon footprint and save precious resources like fresh water and fossil fuel. 


      There are now a number of restaurants that participate in meatless Monday, providing meatless menus and highlight meatless options on Mondays.

      Like mentioned before, the blogging world has fallen in love with Meatless Mondays. Do a simple search on the internet and there are a million meatless recipes now.       3.Green has not always been the color associated with St. Patrick’s Day 

      Hard to believe, but St. Patrick’s color was blue. The Order of St. Patrick, established in 1783, selected blue as its color because dark green was already taken. Green became popular with the 1798 Irish Rebellion when wearing a clover on a lapel became a sign.


      4. The Shamrock is not the symbol of Ireland. 
      The shamrock is a popular Irish symbol, but it is not the symbol of Ireland. As early as the medieval period, the harp has appeared on Irish gravestones and manuscripts. It is the only country to have an instrument as their symbol.

      5. St. Patrick used the shamrock to preach about the trinity.
      Many claim the shamrock represents faith, hope, and love, or any number of other things but it was actually used by Patrick to teach the mystery of the Holy Trinity, and how three things, the Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit could be separate entities.


      Bonus Fact: Your odds of finding a four-leaf clover are about 1 in 10,000.

      1 frozen large banana (Helpful Hint: peel the banana before you freeze)

      1/2 cup Non Sweetened Almond Milk
      1/4 tsp pure peppermint extract

      2 big handfuls of spinach

      1 pear
      1.4 cup ice

      Oil pulling has been the talk of the blogger world lately and we at the Co-E1 team had to try it out. We believe in using natural remedies, all our products are natural boosters that promote wellness from your cells. So natural remedies we love. Oil pulling has been around for years. it’s an ancient Ayurvedic technique that involves swishing natural virgin oil in your mouth for 20 minutes to help improve your oral & overall health. Just like oil is good for your skin, oil is able to cut through plaque and remove toxins without harming the teeth or gums. 

      The benefits are different for everyone but generally the benefits are:

      It’s pretty easy to do. Pick your oil, our team member here uses Organic coconut oil, but any vegetable based oil (sesamesunflower, olive) will work. Coconut oil also has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory properties. To do it you simply put anywhere from a teaspoon to a tablespoon of oil, depending on how much you can handle having in your mouth, and swish it around for 15-20min (no more than 20). It may sound like a long time, but if you do it while cleaning or surfing the internet it goes by fast. If you feel like your mouth is fulling up, just spit some of it out and keep going. 


      Pull the oil through your teeth and make sure NOT to swallow it. Once you start the process, the oil fills up with bacteria (which is what you’re trying to get rid of), so you don’t want to swallow it. After 20 min just spit out the oil into a plastic baggy or directly into the trash. Don’t spit it down the drain cause the oil will solidify and really clog the plumbing pipes.

      Our team member has been doing it for about a month now and she says: “My teeth are so much whiter, which isn’t way I even tried it so its a great benefit.The best result of all for me is I suffer from TMJ and by doing this my jaw pain has decreased! When I first tried it I spit the oil out as soon as I put it in my mouth.
